Free ways to get more views
- Write titles that promise one clear outcome and include the words people search
- Design a thumbnail that is readable on a phone: one face or object, 3–4 words max
- Put the main keyword in the first line of the description
- Hook viewers in the first 15 seconds; retention drives recommendations
- Turn the best moment into a Short that links back to the full video
- Share in communities where the topic is genuinely useful, not as spam
- Upload on a steady schedule so subscribers expect your videos
Avoid “free views” sites
Sites and apps that trade views for views or give “free views” use bots or forced plays. YouTube removes those views and can penalise the channel. They are not worth the risk.
When to promote instead
If a video is good but stuck at low views, a small promotion can give it the first real viewers it needs. Our trial shows a video to 1,000 real people through Google Ads for $10, so you can test it without a big budget.
